Mahakumbahnagar: The state government is pulling out all the stops to make Mahakumbah 2025 a comfortable and memorable experience. In the latest drive to ensure cleanliness at the fairgrounds, the health department has introduced special arrangements to ensure a mosquito and fly-free experience throughout the event.

An innovative system has been introduced, with automatic mist blowing machines, capable of eliminating mosquitoes and flies, within 30 minutes of receiving a call from any part of the Mahakumba area. This system will ensure quick response and hygienic environment for all devotees.

Considerable efforts have also been made to maintain a clean and insect-free environment in the arenas and the spacious tent city. A total of 110 state-of-the-art blower mist machines and 107 mini fogging machines are being deployed across the site. These modern devices are expected to improve the overall atmosphere of the camps and ensure a peaceful and healthy environment during the great religious gathering.

According to Dr VP Singh, Nodal Joint Director (Vector Control), Mahakumbh, the entire venue will be sprayed with insecticide to ensure a hygienic environment. 62 plus fogging machines have been purchased to further enhance the convenience of devotees.

Besides, 78 special officers will be deployed to ensure the safety and welfare of saints and pilgrims during the event. Malaria inspectors will be stationed at the fairgrounds to address any concerns of attendees. These inspectors will visit each Akhara, interact with the Saints, and promptly address mosquito and fly related issues, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for all.

To ensure a smooth experience for pilgrims, it is planned to deploy 45 Malaria Inspectors, along with 28 Assistant Malaria Inspectors who will look after the welfare of both saints and devotees.

Additionally, five District Malaria Officers (DMOs) will be deployed separately to tackle any challenges and maintain uninterrupted services during the grand event.
