The system has advanced monitoring equipment to continuously monitor plant growth. It includes high-definition cameras, sensors for oxygen and carbon dioxide levels, humidity detectors, temperature monitors and instruments for measuring soil moisture.
As part of PSLV Orbital Experiment Module (POEM-4), this initiative reflects ISRO’s commitment to scientific development. The mission includes 24 state-of-the-art payloads, jointly developed by ISRO and academia, demonstrating India’s expanding space exploration capabilities.
