Liam Payne’s ex, Maya Henry, ended a tough year with a stunning roundup of photos she shared on Instagram, where she said goodbye to 2024.
The Texan beauty, who shot to fame as the late Liam Payne’s ex-fiancée, faced a storm of trolling online after the One Direction star’s tragic death, unfairly blamed for it.
The couple’s whirlwind romance began in 2019, but their on-again, off-again long-distance relationship ended in 2022, when they called off their engagement, almost a year later.
To her 600k followers, Maya simply captioned the post: “Goodbye 2024.”
A source close to the model revealed at the time of Liam’s death that she was in “shock” processing the devastating news.
Meanwhile, the investigation into Liam’s fatal drowning at the CasaSur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires has taken a dramatic turn, with five people charged in connection with the incident.
Among those charged is Rogelio “Roger” Norris, a close friend of the singer, who faces charges of negligent homicide.
She refused to leave Liam before her death, reportedly not in custody but banned from leaving Argentina.
Other charges include waiter Brian Pies, who admitted using drugs, including cocaine, with Liam and is charged with supplying drugs, and hotel employee Ezequiel Pereira, who is also charged with supplying drugs.
Casasur Hotel managers Gilda Martin and Esteban Grassi face manslaughter charges.
Of the five, only Paez and Pereira are currently in custody, while all have been summoned to court.
