Lady Gaga’s upcoming seventh studio album promises to take fans on a deeply personal journey.
In a new interview with Los Angeles Times Released on December 19, the pop icon described the project – set for release in February – as a genre-bending collection inspired by the “chaos” of her life and the lessons she’s learned along the way.
“Every song that I wrote, I kept drifting into different dreams that I was having about the past — almost like reminiscing about all the bad decisions that I’ve made in my life,” Gaga added. , “But it ends in this very happy place.”
The album marks a bold return to pop for Gaga, who credits her fiancé Michael Polanski with inspiring her return to the genre.
