Prince Andrew’s finances remain shrouded in mystery, with growing uncertainty over whether he has disclosed his new sources of income to King Charles.
Royal commentator Gareth Russell weighed in on the situation during an exclusive interview. GB Newssuggests that the lack of transparency has created tension in the royal ranks.
“There’s a lot of secrecy in him; whether he’s told the king or not,” Russell said, hinting at the underlying desperation.
He explained that King Charles has been very clear about his expectations, leaving little room for ambiguity about what he wants to see happen.
The mystery surrounding Prince Andrew’s finances is deepening, with speculation growing that he is using the funds to stay in the Royal Lodge, despite earlier pressure from King Charles to move. How have you been able to save?
According to Russell, the king’s frustration is palpable, and the question remains: Has Andrew revealed his financial means to his brother?
“Whether he’s asked for more details on how Andrew has been able to sustain the Royal Lodge from a financial perspective, I think we’ll find out soon enough.”
Although Andrew has managed to cover the financial needs of the sprawling 30-room property, the exact sources of his newfound wealth remain unclear.
The Duke has held the lease for the Royal Lodge since 2003, with the contract running until 2078.
However, tensions began to rise in November when Charles stopped funding his brother’s security, in what some sources described as a “siege”.
