King Charles is announcing his stance on what to expect next year as he hands his heir Prince William a new role.
King Charles, who is set to embark on his first royal visit in less than two weeks, has been appointed as the new patron of the College of Paramedics, as has the Prince of Wales.
William will attend the facility’s first emergency and critical care conference in Birmingham to mark a major milestone for the college.
The King granted a Royal Charter in February 2024 to the College of Paramedics, which was established in 2001, and serves as the membership body for UK paramedics registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
William’s role is well-suited to his position as he already has extensive experience in emergency services while in military service.
The future king’s new title comes just days after Kate Middleton was presented with a major honor on her milestone birthday on January 11.
Kate will now be able to “recognise British expertise and industry” after being allowed to grant royal warrants for the first time.
This honor was previously held by the monarchs themselves, but now it seems that Charles entrusts his beloved daughter-in-law with a greater responsibility.
Charles’ decision to give William and Kate a leading role indicates that the Prince and Princess of Wales will take center stage during the year.
