Kim Kardashian took swift action after facing severe criticism from fans on social media.
The 44-year-old media personality has kept quiet about the devastating fire in Los Angeles, promoting her clothing brand, which critics have deemed ‘tone deaf’.
After the reaction, Keeping up with the Kardashians The star took to Instagram and wrote on her personal and business story, “We have donated to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation which provides critical resources to the brave first responders who protect our city,” on Friday, January 10.
“Also, we are making a large donation of underwear, clothes and socks to Baby2Baby to help those displaced by the fire.”
In the social media announcement, the reality star also said her brand Scams is donating “significant resources” to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation.
“As our community continues to grapple with the devastation of the Los Angeles fires, our hearts go out to all of the victims, and we are committed to helping during this difficult time,” the socialite continued in a second story slide, in her caption. He urged the fans to contribute to the cause. Along with that
“Together, we can bring hope and relief to those who need it most,” he wrote.
Earlier this week, Kim was criticized for promoting her brand’s winter sales while an LA neighborhood caught fire.
