Prince William and Princess Kate have made a wise decision for their children amid Christmas preparations.

The Prince and Princess of Wales have decided to spend a ‘quiet family Christmas at Sandringham’ to avoid security risks after the Windsor raid.

The royal couple have planned a low-key family Christmas at Sandringham as they look to make it a family event amid the ongoing health crisis and security concerns, according to a new report.

The heir to the British throne and his wife Princess Catherine are focusing all the festivities around their three young children.

However, they will take part in traditional celebrations at the Royal Estate in Norfolk on Catherine’s first Christmas since her battle with cancer.

This was told by Grant Harold, former butler of King Charles III The New York Post: “Last Christmas she probably knew something wasn’t quite right, so I imagine it was a pretty rough Christmas.”

In mid-January 2023, Catherine underwent abdominal surgery and was later diagnosed with cancer. She was treated with chemotherapy and has since recovered and returned to work.

“[This year is going to be] More positive, based on what we’ve been told. It will be like any other Christmas, centered around a young family. She’s family-oriented, like the Queen of late, so that will be her focus,” according to the Herald.

He also revealed that Wales will likely arrive in the estate the day before Christmas and spend the holidays there.

The Princess of Wales is currently engaged in a special carol concert at Westminster Abbey on December 6, which will be televised and will be attended by members of the royal family as well as invited guests.
