Keke Palmer recalls a moment in her life when she was Star Stark.

“I grew up watching his show as a kid and living for his show my whole life, and I got the chance to work with him when I was 12 years old,” Palmer said.
“He saved me [Hurricane] Katrina in the story. I was in the hospital, my last breath in character. This is the first time I meet him. She walks through that door, and I’m speechless. I forgot how to act. I thought I was really from Katrina and on my last breath.
He continued, “I couldn’t believe that the woman who had saved all these young girls and these young boys was here to save me. I was in deep shock for most of the scene. I Said to her mother, ‘I can’t breathe, I can’t think, I can’t talk. This is Olivia Benson and Sharon. [Palmer, my mom,] It was like, ‘You have to pass.’ So I passed the scene.
Palmer fondly recalls a memorable experience with Hargate after filming an episode.
The actress invited Palmer and her on-screen sibling to relax in her trailer, where she generously laid out a variety of treats for them to savour.
“He had all these fancy bath products and just all these pretty things that girls like, and he gave it all to both of us,” she recalled. “We walked out of her room with all these baskets of things, and it was like the sweetest memory ever.”
Years later, the Knop star shared that she reached out to Hargate and told him she still loved him.
