Josh Hall couldn’t keep his cool.
A newly released clip from the series premiere Flip off A few months before the July 2024 separation, Haack and Hall’s breaking point offers a glimpse of what might happen.
The scene, captured during a car ride, depicts a tense exchange between the exes, which ends with Josh telling Cristina off about the lack of passion in their conversation.
“It’s a competition. We’ve got to pull out all the stops. Whatever it takes to win, I’ll do it. Halls rule!” Josh announces as he drives off, glancing at Cristina, who remains silent.
Frustrated by her lack of response, he moves on.
“You should say it with me, or repeat it, or something that shows you’re with me,” he says. “Remember you’re a Hal now. Don’t get confused by what your last name is.”
When Cristina still isn’t engaged, Josh snaps, “You’re rude.”
Although Cristina finally answers, her voice is shaky. “I don’t talk much,” she says, trying to defend herself.
Josh added to the tension. “Yeah, what you say and I’m just like, ‘I wish you’d shut up already,'” she added, making Christina sigh.
“My wife is already pissing me off,” he concluded, before Cristina ended the conversation with a simple, “Are we there yet?”
The two-hour premiere, set to air on January 29, highlights the strained dynamics between the pair, echoing some of the accusations Christina made about her ex after their split.
