During the December 16 episode Armchair expert podcast, the 41-year-old actor candidly shared his experience with the 2016 superhero film, which earned mixed reviews despite grossing $874 million worldwide.
“I was in that Batman movie and the Batman movie was very poorly received, and I was very poorly received,” Eisenberg admitted.

“I loved my role and I loved the film, doing it and everything. So I only feel guilty,” he admitted.
“I’m not like they did me wrong. No, I’m like, ‘Oh, I think I did something wrong there.’
Calling the situation “depressing”, Eisenberg remained reflective and acknowledged the challenges of dealing with criticism on such a widely viewed project.
