TV show friends is one of those evergreen sitcoms that remains undeniably popular even after so many years of its release.
While fans loved its cast members, their chemistry, plot, dialogues and comic timing, they also believed that its story had a flaw.
Not only did fans dislike the storyline, but cast members of the show, including Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow and Matthew Perry, disliked the segment.
The popular 90s show had multiple storylines, with Monk Geller and Chandler Bing’s romance being the most popular.
However, the romantic angle between Joey and Rachel was not popular due to the latter’s current relationship with Ross.
Ross and Rachel’s love grew over the years and then the addition of another love interest between the two ensured that one of the boys would end up getting hurt.
LeBlanc, who played Joey, himself admitted that none of the cast members were happy with the plot, including Aniston, who Also felt it inappropriate and was extremely defensive about the whole thing.
