Jay-Z recently made public appearances with Beyonce. Mufasa: The Lion King premiere for his daughter Blue Ivy Carter in Los Angeles.
On December 9, the singer and Blue Ivy appeared at the premiere alongside film co-stars Aaron Pear, Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner, as well as director Barry Jenkins.
Later, on Monday night, Beyonce also took to Instagram to praise her “beautiful baby girl” by posting photos from the premiere.
In the caption, the singer wrote, “It’s your night. You worked so hard and did such a beautiful job as Kiara’s voice. Your family couldn’t be more proud. Keep shining.”
Meanwhile, Jay-Z’s red carpet appearance came a day after he was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl with Sean “Daddy” Combs in 2000.
However, Jay-Z responded to the lawsuit on December 8, calling the allegations “stupid” and part of a “blackmail attempt”.
In a statement, the rapper said, “My only heartbreak is for my family. My wife and I have to put our children, one of whom is at an age where his friends will definitely see the press and these. will question the nature of the claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of the people.”
“I mourn another loss of innocence. Children should not have to endure this at such a young age,” it read.
“It’s unfair to try to fathom the unspeakable degrees of malice to destroy families and the human spirit,” Jay-Z added in a statement.
