James van der Beek reflects on ‘difficult year’ after cancer diagnosis


James Van Der Beekwho announced earlier this month that he was Diagnosis with colorectal Cancerreflected on “my new relationship with my body” and expressed how grateful he is for his family.

The actor wrote, “It’s been a tough year, and I’m grateful for it all. I am grateful for this new relationship with my body, and what I feed it.

Colorectal cancer Begins in the large intestine or rectum.

“And I’m more grateful than ever to my supernatural wife who has shown me on levels I never knew existed. Who has shown me what unconditional love is and the magic that comes from it. Van der Beek has six children with wife Kimberly.

Earlier this month, The actor shared the symptoms he had missed. Before getting his diagnosis. The star said she cut coffee from her diet last summer, thinking it was the cause of her irregular bowel movements. When this did not improve his symptoms, he went to the hospital.

“Then the gastroenterologist said – in his most cheerful way – that it was cancer,” van der Beek said.
