The Reputation era cosplay continues. Taylor Swift headed to Nobu Downtown in New York last night (January 17), choosing a monochromatic black look with both dramatic and subtle details.
Swift was photographed going for dinner with her parents, Andrea and Scott Kingsley Swift, and friend, stylist and designer Ashley Avignone.
The singer wore a black cropped jacket with chain and gemstone detailing and a matching skirt by AREA, a brand she often turns to for date night looks and girls outings to Chez Margaux. She carried a diamond frame clutch bag from Jimmy Choo with its delicate chain strap slung over her arm and styled the look with slouchy, thigh-high leather Chloe boots. Swift also wore sheer, diamond patterned pantyhose, and Chanel pendant logo earrings with gold and diamante embellishments. It’s an outfit that incorporates her usual silhouette and favored designers, with intricate, sophisticated details that make it elegant, and still, ultimately, Swiftian.
Swift of course wore her signature red lip with a cat eye, and her long hair soft and blown out. Her nails were painted a dark, Reputation-y hue.
