MUMBAI: With the rapid evolution of technology, which is reshaping industries and economies across the globe, IT services hiring is expected to grow by 10-12 per cent in the next six months, a report said on Wednesday. It was said.

The report revealed that demand for talent in global competency centers (GCCs) and cyber security increased by 71% and 58% respectively during the September quarter.
The report is based on data from the first two quarters of FY25 from Quess IT staffing operations that analyzes overall tech hiring demand and related insights to give leaders a clear understanding of what the talent market looks like. Hence, IT services hiring in the next 6 months is 10 -12% increase.”
According to the IT Staffing Quarterly Digital Skills Report Q2 FY25, 79% of the overall demand came from the top five skill suites, including development, ERP, testing, networking and data science. In addition to functional skill suites, specialized roles and skills related to Java (30%), cybersecurity (20%), and DevOps (25%) grew rapidly between Q1 and Q2.
The report found in Q2, technology talent demand saw a distinct trend among many IT services firms, increasing by 37 percent.
