Days after the audio was leaked, the PTI abruptly called off its march after a government crackdown on protesters trying to reach D Chowk, drawing widespread condemnation within the former ruling party.

Questions are being raised in the PTI parliamentary leadership as to why the supporters were instructed to go to D Chowk instead of staging a dharna in Sangjani as per the order of the former prime minister.

In the audio, which was confirmed by Ali while talking to Geo News, the PTI leader claimed that party founder Imran Khan had asked the leaders to set up a protest camp in Sangjani area of Islamabad and not in D Chowk in the red zone. was ordered. The founder of PTI had asked to come to Islamabad and not to D Chowk. Khan had said that the final location of the sit-in would be confirmed after the party members reached Islamabad, Ali said in the audio leak.

In the audio leak, the senior PTI leader asked who gave the order? [the party workers] When Khan Sahib’s instructions were clear, he had to go to D Chowk. The PTI founder said this in the presence of Barrister Gauhar, Faisal Chaudhry and others. Questioning the role of Aleema Khan’s sister Aleema Khan, Ali said why she called instead of party chairman Gohar.

The founder of PTI had said that there is no place for traditional politics in our party, so why did Aleema Khan herself protest? He questioned, adding that Khan had said that the party leadership would take a call.

In the audio, Ali can also be heard saying that the party’s aim was to negotiate through protests on the orders of the PTI founder.

He added that PTI founder Bushra was unaware of Bibi’s presence in the protest and was informed about it by Barrister Gauhar. “PTI chairman and secretary general should have announced that the sit-in will be held in Sangjani,” Ali said, adding that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur had also agreed. We should have followed the order of our leader and stopped at Sangjani. No one, including Bushra Bibi, has the right to overrule the decision of the Founder Chairman. He said that when Barrister Saif conveyed the message of the founder chairman, we should have followed it.
