ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmaker Sher Afzal Marwat on Friday claimed that the former ruling party had offered to shift its detained party founder Imran Khan to Governor House in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Nithia Gali. which was rejected according to him.

Addressing the Geo News In the program ‘Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Ke Saath’, he claimed that the offer was made by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and representatives of the government and establishment.

The statement came a day after the PTI founder’s lawyer Faisal Chaudhry said that Imran was offered a deal under which he would be shifted to Bani Gala, his residence in Islamabad. Ga so that they can spend the rest of their jail time.

The statement came a day after the second round of talks between the former ruling party and the government was held, which National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq said was held in a pleasant atmosphere.

During the meeting, PTI’s negotiating team tried to hold frequent meetings with party founder Imran Khan to finalize the “Charter of Demands”. Although the PTI has been quite vocal about its key demands, it has not been able to share these demands in writing with the government committee.

The party founded by Imran Khan has already given an ultimatum that the negotiations should be completed by the end of the current month.

These negotiations were taking place in the context of the declaration of civil disobedience movement by the former ruling party if the demands are not accepted.
