Faisalabad: A woman was killed by her husband and brother-in-law in Chak 77/GB. According to the police report, Abida Bibi, a mother of five children, was killed by her husband Yusuf and her brother-in-law Hasan Raza in the name of honor.
Bandit killed: A bandit was allegedly shot dead by an accomplice during a robbery incident near Chak 67/JB. The Takriwala police say that the cash was taken from Constable Ashfaq who was returning home from duty. While escaping, the robbers tried to stop the two motorcyclists and one of them opened fire on the riders. However, the bullet accidentally hit his companion, killing him on the spot.
