Pakistani actor and nation’s heartthrob Hania Aamir took to her Instagram account to explain why she left the Meet and Greet show in Dallas, Texas.
To promote her television drama “Kabhi Mein Kabhi Tum”, Hania attended a meet and greet show with her co-star Fahad Mustafa. During the show, one of the organizers misbehaved with the showbiz manager and she left the event.
The “Jaanaan” actor took to his Instagram and expressed his utter disappointment over the unexpected interactions that took place during the show.
“Everybody saw the videos of me walking in the crowd and taking pictures and everything was fine. As I was walking back to my seat, I heard one of the organizers swearing at my manager. So I went up to him and asked. told the man (one of the organizers) that he couldn’t talk to her like that so she went backstage to make sure Is he right and Fahad is a gentleman? Even being a man came to inspect it,” wrote the actor.
She also revealed that the same manager abused her and her team even more when they started taking photos with fans backstage. Things got so bad that people (his fans) had to stop the man.
“Then we decided to start with pictures with the fans backstage, at which point he came running after us, called us names, told us to get out, broke the security protocol, and verbally We were attacked even more (had to catch people. That back).We were quickly escorted out by our promoter Arif Khan so that nothing would escalate and we arranged personal transport to reach the hotel safely.
Furthermore, the flamboyant actor boldly asserted that no one should disrespect anyone irrespective of their status or position.
He also stressed that people should not think that they are absolved of accountability just because they targeted women, who work in male-dominated sectors.
Haniya said: “First of all, whatever position you hold, high or low, it does not give you the right to disrespect anyone. Second, simply because we [we] Women are in male-dominated fields, giving you no right to assume that you can get away with almost anything and that we won’t stand up for ourselves.
Moreover, the “Anna” actor also demanded that the promoters and organizers of such events should ensure that such people do not spoil everyone’s day.
He also apologized to his fans and at the same time stood firm on his stand and urged media houses to refrain from making allegations about artistes without considering the facts.
