Following trends in the global market, gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant decline on Thursday.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24 carat gold decreased by Rs 2,600 per tola, bringing the total price to Rs 273,300.
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs 2,229 to Rs 234,311.
In the international market, gold prices also declined, with an additional premium of $20, down by $26 to $2,621 an ounce.
Silver prices in the domestic market remained stable with a slight decline of Rs 50 to Rs 3350 per tola.
This volatility in gold prices marks a remarkable turnaround after a modest rise in the recent period.
