“I’ve never cheated in a romantic relationship, but I’ve been cheated on by friends,” Merob shared. Without elaborating, she added, “It’s the most painful part of a friendship when it all ends — because the whole time you were together, you spill everything from A to Z to your friends. ”
Like others, Merob may have had her trust broken by people she once trusted, but the starlet added that she is lucky enough to now have a close circle of supportive friends. can do “Thank God I have good friends now,” she said. “I have few friends, but they are my best friends.”
Armed with her inner circle, Merob adds that she doesn’t spend much time on those who have abused her trust in the past. “Maybe they were good people,” he thought. “Who knows? People make mistakes. I don’t think too much about it. I just forgive and leave it all to God.”
True to her attitude of forgiveness, Merob thought that the pain of betrayal healed with time. “Of course it hurts,” he admits, “but slowly and over time, there comes a point where you can see the other person as a human being and tell yourself to let them go.”
The actor added that until she holds grudges and can forgive those who hurt her, it comes at a price. According to him, once a line is crossed, it is not possible to expect things to return to the way they were before the betrayal of trust.
“Sorry and then move on” she said firmly. “Things can never be the same again.”
Apart from talking about friendship, Merob revealed that his career in the showbiz industry happened by chance during an illness as a teenager.
“I got typhoid when I was 16, and had to be put on a drip day and night,” he recalled. “A nurse told me to send my video to the place for an audition. She even called my mom to make sure I emailed her. After that, I did some modeling. And then started acting.”
