Sources said that 20 to 25 The Khawarij Attempted to infiltrate into Pakistan in Kurram and North Waziristan regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and attacked Pakistani posts with heavy weapons along with Afghan Taliban.
In a swift and effective response, Pakistani forces not only foiled the infiltration attempt but also launched a vigorous counter-attack.
Reports claim that more than 15 militants, including members of the Afghan Taliban, were killed and several others injured. The operation forced the Afghan Taliban to abandon six posts along the border, causing them to suffer heavy losses.
According to initial reports, there has been a lot of damage from the Afghan side, and more casualties are likely. Despite the intensity of the exchange, Pakistan’s security forces reported no casualties and only three wounded.
