David Lynch, the writer and filmmaker whose works include Mulholland Drive and Twin Peaks, has died aged 78.
Lynch’s death was announced by his family on their Facebook page.
“There’s a big hole in the world now that he’s no longer with us,” Post said.
“But, as he would say, ‘Keep your eye on the donut, not the hole.’ … It’s a beautiful day with golden sunshine and blue skies everywhere.”
