Lahore: Secretary Youth Affairs and Sports Punjab Muzaffar Khan Syal has said that the best sports infrastructure is being built in remote areas of Punjab province. He said this while presiding over the important meeting of Departmental Development Sub-Committee at Punjab Stadium.
DG Youth Affairs and Sports Punjab Khizr Afzal Chaudhry, Additional Secretary Sports Mian Usman Ali, Director Admin Dr. M. Kalam, Project Director PMU Qaiser Raza, officers of Finance and P&D departments also participated in the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Secretary Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial said that a new pavilion and boundary wall will be built in Haveli Lakha Sports Stadium. And flood lights will be installed. “Sports stadiums in Mandi Ahmadyar and Basirpur will also be expanded and renovated,” he explained.
He further said that soft and green multiple sports ground will be built in Jhang. He further said that a multi-purpose sports ground will also be constructed in Muzaffargarh. He directed the concerned officers that the leveling of all sports grounds in the province should be excellent. He said that Sports Department Punjab will continue to take all possible steps to promote sports culture in Punjab.
