LAHORE: Punjab Local Government Minister Zeeshan Rafique has emphasized the importance of private sector partnership for providing effective services at the local level.
Addressing a national workshop on “Sustainable and Innovative Models for Public Service Delivery” organized under the Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Investment Program (PICIIP), the minister encouraged public-private partnerships for better municipal service delivery. The Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Investment Program recognized various institutions for their significant role in transforming municipal service delivery. PICIIP recognized the contribution of Rahman Habib Consultants (RHC) in partnership with IBF Belgium for impacting effective operational models, sustainable business plans, and capacity building initiatives, which have significantly enhanced the delivery of municipal services. Addressing the event, Project Director Hamza Saliq said that their goal has always been to incorporate modern and sustainable practices in the local government system of Punjab.
