Laki Marwat: Abdul Saboor Jan, a resident of Wanda Ameer area of Laki Marwat district, defended his PhD thesis at the Department of Political Science, Cordoba University, Dera Ismail Khan, on Wednesday.
He completed his dissertation under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Muhammad Ismail titled “The Impact of Al-Qaeda and the Afghan Taliban on US-Pakistani Relations: Issues and Prospects for Regional Peace.”
An external supervisor, Dr. Azmat Ali Shah, reviewed his research work. John belongs to a respected religious family in the district and has expressed his desire to establish a school in Wanda Ameer to impart religious and contemporary education to children from poor families.
