Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat said on Monday that the party leadership is concerned about the narrative that Bushra Bibi’s sister and spokesperson Maryam Riaz Watto and Mashal Yousafzai have tried to create.
This Marwat said while talking Geo News Program ‘Today with Shahzeb Khanzada’. He added that the party leadership found that the remarks of Vito and Yousafzai were flawed.
He further highlighted that some people in PTI are allegedly connected with ex-officers of agencies, which is creating differences in the party.
He claimed that the language used and accusations had created widespread frustration and helplessness in the leadership, demoralizing members with constant complaints and accusations.
Marwat urged PTI founder Imran to intervene immediately and resolve the situation, stressing that this is not the time for internal conflicts, as raised by Qasim Suri.
He suggested that instead of hesitating, the PTI should have immediately called for nationwide protests and resumed its march to Islamabad.
It is worth noting that Vito and Yousafzai recently claimed that Khan trusts Bushra Bibi more than the “compromising” leaders of his party.
Speaking to The Guardian, he alleged that PTI leaders often failed to follow the founder’s directives, prompting Bushra Bibi to step into a more active role.
Vito accused some of Khan’s close associates of having dubious motives, who appear to be playing both sides for personal gain. He also revealed that Bushra Bibi faced pressure not to go to the center of Islamabad during the protest.
