Bumrah completes double century of Test wickets, Indian bowler to achieve this feat in fewest balls

Team India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has created history in the opening Bordergaskar Trophy Test in Melbourne. He played 44 Test matches and won 200 wickets. He out-biked Travis Head to achieve this feat. Today was also Travis Head’s birthday, but he had a bad day on the field.

The biggest highlight of Jasprit Bumrah’s success in Test cricket is that he has taken 200 wickets in just 8484 balls. He thus became the Indian bowler to take 200 Test wickets in the fewest deliveries. The record of taking 200 wickets in the fewest balls in world cricket is held by Pakistan’s great fast bowler Waqar Younis. Waqar took 200 wickets in Test matches in just 7725 balls. The 20-wicket taker in the fewest balls in world Test cricket is fourth, while Dale Steyn and Kagiso Raba are second respectively.
