Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming has shared that she feels a “heaviness” in her heart as she celebrates her 17th anniversary with her husband during his battle with the disease.
The 46-year-old actress took to Instagram on Sunday, December 29, to share a cute throwback photo with her husband in the ocean at sunset.
“Anniversaries used to bring excitement, now, if I’m being honest, they stir up all the emotions, leave a heavy heart and a pit in my stomach,” she wrote in the caption.
“I give myself 30 minutes to sit in ‘why them, why us’ to feel the anger and sadness. Then I shake it off and return to what is. Perfume Star continued.

Willis and Hemming got engaged in 2009 and welcomed two daughters, Mabel, 12, and Evelyn, 10, after their marriage.
