Bruce Springsteen is receiving high praise for his portrayal of the iconic musician in Jeremy Allen White’s upcoming biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere. The film focuses on the making of Springsteen’s critically acclaimed 1982 album Nebraska.

In a recent interview with SeriousXMKE Street Radio, Springsteen opened up about his visits to the set and The Bear star stepping into his shoes. Although the experience felt “a little” awkward at first, the legendary rocker said, “You get over it pretty quickly.”

Springsteen was particularly impressed with White’s skill and authenticity. “Jeremy is such a fantastic actor that you just fall into him,” he shared.

Discussing White’s overall portrayal, Springsteen noted, “He has an interpretation of me that I think fans will deeply identify with, and he’s just done a great job. When I I had a lot of fun on the set when I got there.

White’s role goes beyond acting, as he is also singing in the film. Springsteen was enthusiastic about White’s vocal abilities, saying, “He sings very well.”

Springsteen also shed light on the film’s casting, expressing his excitement over the ensemble. “And Jeremy Strong and Odessa Young, just a great cast of people,” he said. “They cast the movie beautifully, so it’s very exciting.”
