Brad Pitt makes ‘last ditch effort’ in Angelina Jolie case

Brad Pitt has requested that an LA judge order Angelina Jolie to turn over emails related to the sale of a French winery, calling the move a “last resort”.

in touch Court documents obtained show the Oscar winner’s legal team telling the court, “In a last-ditch effort to suppress the truth about the mis-selling of his Stoli parties, [Angelina] He has withheld hundreds of emails with his inner circle in the period leading up to the sale over claims of attorney-client privilege.”

He continues, “But 126 of those emails are entirely between non-lawyers. Those 126 communications should be ordered to be produced.”

“After more than a year of stonewalling, Brad’s lawyer added: [Angelina] It was finally agreed to produce these documents last summer.

However, his legal team says, “[Angelina’s] The contract to produce them turns out to be illusory. indeed, [Angelina] Prepared only one internal communication discussing or reflecting the sale.

“[Angelina] Claims that all other internal communications of his team on this subject are protected by attorney/client privilege. It includes hundreds of emails to or from non-lawyers.”

“Such as his business manager Terry Bird, his image consultants Chloe Dalton and Arminka Haleck, his wine consultant Christophe Saline, his finance consultants Marjorie Brabet Friel and James Friel, and his personal assistants Michael Vera and Mandy Nebbie.”

“126 of these communications do not involve any attorney participants. [Angelina’s] “A broad claim of privilege over these 126 communications is unsupported by law, and cannot justify his near-complete cover-up of this very important discovery,” the lawyer argued.

The dispute is over a French winery owned equally by the couple. However, after their split, Angelina sold her share of the business, leading to Brad suing, alleging that she didn’t get his approval before the sale.
