BioAge Labs said on Friday it was discontinuing a mid-stage trial studying its experimental obesity drug as monotherapy and in combination with Eli Lilly’s terceptide.

Tirzepatide is the active ingredient in Lilly’s diabetes drug Mounjaro and weight loss treatment Zepbound.
The mid-stage trial involved about 220 people aged 55 and older with obesity.
