Billie Eilish recently made a shocking confession about her body image struggles in early childhood.
In a new interview with completex, the lovely “The really interesting thing is that when I was younger, I loved big clothes,” the singer said.
“All I wore were fairy dresses and skirts. I never wore pants or shorts when I was younger,” the 22-year-old remarked.
However, Billy recalled, “When I was 11, I was obsessed with this brand called Brandy Melville. And they only sold clothes in one size.
“I was chubby and I was obsessed with these clothes, but I’d buy a shirt and it wouldn’t fit me,” he said. Eyes of the Ocean A rogue
Billy pointed out that she was “not slim” and that she was “in ballet” and this is when her “physical problems” began.
“I didn’t want my body to be part of my clothes,” she continued.
“I wanted my dress to be my dress, and my body inside it,” said Billy.
Recently, the singer revealed that she has released her 2021 album. Happier than ever to applaud critics’ claims that she “doesn’t look like a girl”.
“So of course, I had to go with the classic, the totally extreme version of it,” the Grammy winner noted.
Billy explained, “I couldn’t just wear a skirt once. I had to completely change everything and be this girl for a second and it was pink nails, blonde hair, skirts, dresses.
“I was like, ‘I can do whatever I want. And then I can go back to what I was doing before, and you guys can eat it,'” the singer added.
