Informed sources revealed on Wednesday that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will personally attend the swearing-in ceremony of Donald Trump as US President on January 20.
The PPP Chairman will attend the swearing-in ceremony on the invitation of the newly elected US President. Sources say that Bilawal will leave for Washington in the next few days.
Apart from Bilawal, the newly elected US President also invited Chinese President Xi Jinping and other world leaders to his swearing-in ceremony in Washington.
It is worth mentioning here that PPP Co-Chairman and current President Asif Ali Zardari attended the swearing-in ceremony of the then newly elected US President Trump in Washington DC in 2017.
Zardari was accompanied by PPP leaders Rehman Malik (deceased) and Sherry Rehman.
Following his landslide victory in the Nov. 5 presidential election, Trump will be sworn in as the 47th head of state during an inauguration ceremony at the Capitol next week.
