American singer-songwriter Beyoncé has once again shown why she is not only a global superstar but also a kind and warm-hearted woman as her recent work has left people swooning over her.
The Grammy-winning singer recently showed great generosity when she donated a whopping $100,000 to the University of Houston Law Center in her hometown, leaving people buzzing amid her husband’s ongoing legal battle.
The university broke the news Wednesday, sharing that Beyonce’s heartfelt move will now help pay for a full-time faculty director and help keep the center running smoothly.
“This gift…will nurture the next generation of criminal justice attorneys in Houston, the state of Texas, and the nation,” shared UH Law Center Dean Leonard Baines.
The recent announcement comes as the music icon’s husband, the American rapper, finds himself in deep water due to his ongoing lawsuit.
In the latest case, Jay-Z and Sean “Daddy” Combs are accused of trying to drug and assault a 13-year-old girl in 2000.
He later denied all the allegations saying that all these allegations are completely ‘baseless’ as he is really worried about his family and his reputation.
In Jay-Z’s public statement, he wrote: “My wife and I will have to sit our kids down… and explain the cruelty and greed of people.”
