Daniel Craig’s name missing from the BAFTA 2025 awards list has caused a stir online.
When the list of names for ‘Best Actor’ nominations came out, fans noticed that Daniel was snubbed and his role was not considered. weird
Actors who made it to the final list included Timothee Chalamet, Hugh Grant, Adrien Brody, Coleman Domingo, Ralph Fiennes and Sebastian Stan.
However, Luca Guadagnino’s direction received SAG and Golden Globe nominations in recent weeks, yet was overlooked at the BAFTAs.
The list of nominations upset Craig’s fans, who couldn’t resist reacting.
One X user wrote: “So Daniel Craig got into SAG but missed out on BAFTA…seriously, what’s going on this season?”
Meanwhile, another expressed: “BAFTAS!! The BAFTAS of all people took away Daniel Craig but he got into SAG? Am I still alive???
Another social media user said, “Think Daniel might have killed someone’s grandma the way he keeps snipping at tissues.”
Another user quipped: “Baftas snubbed Andrew Scott last year and Daniel Craig this year… hmmm”.
