Peshawar: The Peshawar High Court has sought a response from the administration within 14 days on the petition filed by the Higher Education Commission to stop the entrance test for scholarships due to the deteriorating law and order situation in Karam.
The case was heard by a two-member bench consisting of Justice Kamran Hayat Mian Khel and Justice Dr. Khurshid Iqbal. The hearing was adjourned till January 16.
During the hearing, Justice Kamran Hayat expressed hope that a peace agreement would be reached in Karam. He asked the parties to work together with the local administration to resolve the issue. Justice Kamran Hayat directed that these proposals should be submitted in writing to the court to take a proper decision.
