Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reached an agreement for divorce after eight years, their lawyer told the media.
Mr Pitt’s lawyer had no immediate comment when contacted for comment, The Associated Press reported.
The couple got married in 2014 and have six children together.
Ms Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, citing “irreconcilable differences”.
The couple became embroiled in a bitter child custody battle in the months following the announcement.
In 2021, a judge awarded both parents joint custody of the children.
The couple was known to fans as “Brangelina” and met on the set of the 2005 film Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
It was Mr Pitt’s second marriage – he was previously married to Friends star Jennifer Aniston – and Ms Jolie’s third, following actors Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller.
