One owl stuck on top of the other. Virginia A family Christmas tree a week before the big day.
“This beautiful bard owl decided to play. Santa and fell — literally — through the chimney of a local home, and declared himself the newest star on top of his Christmas tree,” said the Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA).
The rescue organization added that the bird knocked over the old star to make room for itself.
An officer caught the owl and released it back into the forest.
“This is a great reminder to keep your chimneys closed this season to prevent curious critters from visiting,” the AWLA said.
