It also includes the approval of “innovative” drugs like Tryvio for high blood pressure, Neffy for severe allergic reactions and Dupixent for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which won FDA approval this year.

In a disclaimer, GoodRx noted that the list was created by “prioritizing first-in-class drugs and vaccines that will have significant impact on efficacy.” Human health

“It was defined as either the number of lives lost or the extent of the effect expected for future recipients of the drug,” the company wrote.

“We also prioritized drugs with efficacy or safety data that represented a significant benefit compared to other drugs recommended by clinical treatment guidelines or primary medical organizations.”
