MEERUT: A stampede broke out during Pandit Pradeep Mishra’s katha (religious story ceremony) in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut, in which several women were injured. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital. It is being told that the incident took place at the entry gate of the venue.

According to reports, the overcrowding led to chaos, and mismanagement at the entry gate when women fell on each other led to the situation. The local police force called you first.
