Charsadda: The district administration on Wednesday provided relief materials and essential items to a family displaced from tribal district Karam and shifted to Charsadda a few days ago.
On behalf of the administration, the affected family has been assured of all possible help. On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Qaiser Khan, Assistant Commissioner Riaz Ahmed met the five-member family who had migrated to Charsada from Sada area of Karam district. He assured them of full cooperation from the district administration.
The Assistant Commissioner provided essential items to the family including food, blankets, kitchen sets and other necessities. A family of five, including one Fazal Nabi, his wife and three young children, had fled Karam district due to severe insecurity and threats. Lives and property, lack of food, non-availability of medical facilities and employment opportunities.
It is noteworthy that the family reached Charsadda a few days ago after going through difficult and difficult routes. On their arrival, they spent one freezing night at the bus station and another at a government rest house.
According to the head of the family, Fazal Nabi, they had hired a vehicle from Sadda for Rs 18,000 which took them to Charsadda through various rugged hilly and unusual routes.
