The Duchess of Sussex’s new Netflix show has been delayed until March due to the Los Angeles wildfires, the streaming giant has announced.
The lifestyle series, which was filmed in Southern California, was set to premiere on Wednesday.
Netflix said it offered its “full support” to Meghan’s request to delay the release.
Wildfires have been raging in California since Tuesday.In which at least 16 people died and hundreds of thousands were forced to evacuate their homes.
In a statement, Netflix called the upcoming program a “heartfelt tribute to the beauty of Southern California,” adding that it was moving the With Love premiere to Meghan on the “ongoing devastation” caused by the fire.
“I’m grateful to our partners at Netflix for helping me delay the launch, as we focus on the needs of those affected by the wildfires in our home state of California,” Duchess said.
The show, filmed in Montecito, Southern California, will now air on March 4, Netflix said.
