According to Deputy Director Rescue Asghar Jamali, the miners were trapped at a depth of 4,000 feet.
Although rescue teams, including mine rescue and the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), are facing difficulties due to gas and debris, they have managed to remove up to 3,600 feet of debris using heavy machinery.
The reason for the delay in the rescue operations is said to be the laying of another power line and the removal of debris.
Meanwhile, Minister of Mineral Resources and Finance Mir Shoaib Noshirwani has taken notice of the incident and ordered an investigation.
Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind has also assured a full investigation into the incident and warned that strict action will be taken against those responsible for negligence.
