Among the affected persons, four passengers bound for Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman were included in the stop list, while one traveling to Canada and two traveling to Nepal on visit visas were also dropped.
Similarly, two passengers going to Turkey on visit visa and two passengers going to Azerbaijan on work visa were stopped from boarding.
Ten Umrah pilgrims were denied entry to Saudi Arabia due to insufficient funds and prepaid hotel bookings, while a traveler with a permanent residence card for Switzerland suffered a similar fate.
Work visa travelers to Saudi Arabia, Oman and Algeria along with visitors from Iraq, UAE, Malaysia, Somalia, Bahrain, Sri Lanka, Uganda and Singapore were stopped due to incomplete documents.

Meanwhile, immigration officials arrested 14 deportees on charges of drug smuggling and counterfeit currency upon landing at Karachi Airport.
40 Pakistanis were deported from UAE alone in multiple flights. According to immigration sources, UAE authorities arrested 11 Pakistanis for drug smuggling, while two were accused of circulating fake currency.
Sources added that the deportees had allegedly served prison terms in the UAE before returning to Pakistan.
