ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi called on British High Commissioner Jane Marriott here on Saturday.
In the meeting, the Interior Minister said that the Pakistani nation and security forces have made immense sacrifices in the war against terrorism. He said that the brave nation of Pakistan has bravely faced the scourge of terrorism and will continue to do so.
He said that the protection of life and property of all the citizens living in Pakistan is the first priority of the government. The minister said that no action is being taken against any foreigner with valid documents, while those without valid documents will face action. He said that Pakistan values its longstanding relationship with Britain. British High Commissioner Jane Marriott expressed her desire to increase cooperation with Pakistan in various fields.
