Heavy snow is expected to disrupt Scotland over the weekend, with temperatures forecast to drop to -10C.
A yellow alert for snow is in effect across most of the country until 10pm on Saturday. Met Office warning Difficult travel conditions.
A yellow warning for snow has been issued from Sunday morning to Monday afternoon.
The Met Office said the biggest risk would be in southern and eastern Scotland where up to 5cm of normal accumulation could occur, rising to 10 to 20cm on higher ground.
There is a high chance of rain or sleet near some northern and eastern coasts.
The forecaster said the conditions could lead to power outages and travel delays.

Temperatures could drop to minus 10C overnight in rural areas of Scotland, forecasters said.
A more severe amber warning is in place for snow just south of the border between 21:00 on Saturday night and midnight on Sunday.
The Met Office said it could cause severe disruption, including power cuts, road delays, travel cancellations and rural communities being disconnected.
SNSNetwork Rail said that while it was expecting “bitter frost” on Saturday morning, it expected timetables to run as normal.
It warned of up to 15cm of snow on the west coast’s mainline, south of Motherwell and Carstairs and in higher areas such as Shotts and Livingston.
Network Rail also said inland areas of Fife could see up to 10cm, while heavy rain is also likely along the east coast.
It said it was ready to respond to any weather-related incidents but encouraged travelers to check for updates before traveling.

Temperatures hit -6C in Eskdalemuir in Dumfries and Galloway on Thursday night due to a cold snap.
Snow fell in the Highlands and Aberdeenshire, with three mountain walkers having to be rescued in the Cairngorms after getting into trouble.
The A815 near Dunoon was closed after an HGV hit a gas main, while a bus went off the road near Brig O’ Waithe in Orkney due to high winds and snow.
The Far North Railway line was also closed between Inverness and Kyle of Lochalsh earlier this week due to flooding and landslides.
Weather presenter Christy McCabe, editor of Met Matters at the Royal Meteorological Society, said BBC Radio’s Good Morning Scotland: “There is likely to be a lot of snow, but there is always the risk of freezing rain along with the snow.
“You can get black ice, really dangerous conditions on the roads.
“It’s not particularly unusual, it’s not record-breaking cold, but it’s not great as Monday is going to be the first day back to school or work for many people.
“It will be a legacy of cold weather and dirty conditions.”
