Two people have died after two lorries collided on a major road in Lincolnshire.
The collision, which involved a Volvo and a Scania lorry, happened at around 09:30 GMT on the A15 north of Canby Corner near Snitterby Junction, Lincolnshire Police said.
Police added that one of them was from Barnsley in South Yorkshire and the other from Cleethorpes in north-east Lincolnshire.
The road remains closed and officers are appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage of the scene to contact police.
The force had previously said a car was involved but has since clarified the incident as only involving two lorries.
“Officers attended following a collision near Sinterby Junction, involving a Volvo lorry and a Scania lorry,” Lincolnshire Police said in a statement.
“Sadly, the drivers of both lorries were pronounced dead at the scene.”
