Arrest warrant issued against former cricketer Robin Uthappa, police ordered to take strict action

A warrant has been issued against former Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa’s Provident on fraud charges. 39 Mantaraz Uthappa, who played 59 of his team’s matches on behalf of India, alleges that the company, ‘Cinch Lifestyle Row Pvt Ltd’, took PF money from the salaries of its employees but that amount. Non-deposit in PF accounts resulted in a loss of around Rs 23 lakh, against which legal action was initiated.

PF director, Sadakshri Gopal, had written a letter to the police on 4 asking for an arrest warrant to be issued against Uthappa. He said that action should be taken against Uthappa and he should be searched. After this letter, the police were forced to take strict action against Uthappa. But the police sent the warrant back to the PF office and said that Uthappa had traced him, on which his arrest was not possible yet.

Robin Uthappa is a cricketer from India and he has played 59 important matches during his cricket career. In his career he scored 1183 runs in 54 Tests and scored 7 fifties. After his success, the legal route is taking a new turn, causing a buzz among his fans and the cricket board.
